Thomas See, lead manager of the £945m Schroder Income Maximiser fund, is leaving the business following a merger of two investment teams.

See (pictured) first joined Schroders in 1988 in its investment banking division, which was later sold to Citibank. However, he rejoined the firm in 2005 in the role of head of structured fund management, and has been manager of the Maximiser fund since 2009. His departure comes as the firm merges two of its investment management teams - structured fund management and portfolio solutions - eliminating the need for his role.
