Rachel Beagles has been promoted to chairman of the £172m Securities Trust of Scotland after serving six years on the board.
She has over ten years experience as a non-executive director on a number of investment companies and is also a board member of the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), and a director of the BlackRock Emerging Europe and New India trusts. Prior to her involvement with the closed-ended space, she was co-head of the Pan European banks equity research and sales teams at Deutsche Bank Securities.
