AXA Investment Managers has strengthened its UK equities team with the appointment of John King to its Framlington UK equities desk as an assistant portfolio manager.
King will support the equities team and report to head of UK equities, George Luckraft (pictured). He joins from Jefferies, where he was a senior vice president in the UK equity sales team. Prior to this, he spent two years at UBS and two years at N+1 Singer, as a part of the UK equities team, and five years as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young. Luckraft said: "John's enthusiasm for the UK equities sector makes him a good fit and his experience means he can hit the ground running. We are excited to have him on board."
