Brooks Macdonald has appointed former Charles Stanley portfolio manager Ben Mackie as an investment director at its Taunton office.

Mackie will join the company's bespoke portfolio service team, where he will manage discretionary portfolios. He will also focus on supporting and growing the company's professional adviser network in the South West of England and Wales.
