Kames adds former Macquarie director to equities team

Kames Capital has appointed former Macquarie managing director Robin Black as an investment manager within its Edinburgh-based equities team.

Black will be responsible for the team managing global equity manadates, with a particular focus on Japan. He will report to Stephen Adams (pictured), head of equities. At Macquarie, Black worked as a managing director in the company's Hong Kong division from 2010, and was responsible for global sales of pan-Asian equities. Prior to this, he was managing director, head of Asian and Japanese sales into North America, at Deutsche Bank, based in New York.
