Miton's Nick Greenwood, whose £55m Global Opportunities fund recently reached all-time highs in terms of its share price and NAV, has said he is not compelled to make any new investments at the moment.
The manager, who has run the fund of investment trusts at Miton Asset Management since 2004, has not added any new holdings recently due to a "less exciting outlook for equities". The last fund he took a new position in was Standard Life's £519m European Private Equity investment trust at 2% in May. Since then, he has only added to or sold current positions.
