Newton's Stewart bags Morningstar's Outstanding Fund Manager award

Morningstar has awarded its 2016 Outstanding Fund Manager award to Iain Stewart, manager of the £9.8bn Newton Real Return fund, as it also named awards for outstanding rising talent and investment house.

The accolades were awarded as part of Morningstar's annual Awards for Excellence in Investment, which took place at the Dorchester Hotel on 8 September. Individual fund managers and fund groups that have made a substantial contribution to the retail investment management industry were recognised.
