BlackRock launches thematic iShares ETF range to capture 'megatrends'

BlackRock has launched a range of thematic iShares ETFs, designed to capture global 'megatrends' such as an ageing population and digitalisation.

The range will also offer investors exposure to the healthcare innovation and robotics and automation themes. The firm said these areas stem from widely acknowledged megatrends - global economic, social, technological and demographic shifts that can majorly influence everyday lives, and which are expected to become more important over the coming decades.
