MFS Investment Management has launched the Global Opportunistic Bond fund, a flexible fixed income fund, managed by Richard Hawkins and Robert Spector.
The product is designed to generate returns from an array of alpha sources and will be available to investors through the Luxembourg-domiciled MFS Meridian Funds range. It will focus on investing in corporate and government bond issuers from developed markets, but may also look at emerging markets and can also invest in mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities, in addition to investment grade and below debt instruments.
