AXA Investment Managers has announced the merger of its alternative solutions and structured finance teams to create a €31bn global alternative credit platform, as head of alternative solutions Eric Lhomond leaves the business.
The platform will be led by Deborah Shire, head of structured finance at AXA IM. Meanwhile, Lhomond, who has worked global head of the alternative solutions team for the past two years, has decided to leave AXA IM in order to pursue a new opportunity. He has held the role since October 2014 and worked for the wider AXA Group for 17 years.
