Cazenove Capital Management is set to acquire the wealth management arm of London-based private bank C. Hoare & Co, with the transaction expected to complete in Q1 2017.
Cazenove, the UK wealth management arm of Schroders, will take over the wealth arm of the private bank as part of its long-term growth strategy. C. Hoare & Co has historically provided banking services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, but widened its services into wealth management in the past decade, and now boasts around 1,800 clients with £2.2bn of discretionary assets under management.
