Lloyds Private Banking has appointed Jon Wingent from Close Brothers Asset Management as head of portfolio specialists in its Wealth Investment Office.
Wingent will report into the firm's CIO Markus Stadlmann and also becomes a senior member of the Wealth Investment Office. Portfolio specialists, a role established in 2015, provide expert investment support and technical knowledge to Lloyds' private banking units across the UK. In his previous role at Close Brothers Asset Management, Wingent was an investment director and spokesperson for its investment proposition and macro-economic policy, as well as providing advice on multi- and single-asset portfolios.
