Former Odey Asset Management fund manager Freddie Lait has launched his own investment management business, with his first offering being the Latitude Horizon fund.
Lait, who worked at Odey for six years as manager of the Odey Atlas fund, founded Latitude Investment Management earlier this year which will open in November. He has taken the Odey Atlas fund with him and is relaunching it at Latitude as a global long-only diversified growth vehicle targeting absolute return with low volatility and fees. It will invest in a concentrated portfolio of stocks with high quality business characteristics or improving industry dynamics alongside non-equity investments to generate uncorrelated returns.
