City Financial has agreed to sell The Adviser Centre, led by Peter Toogood, to Embark Group as it focuses on its alternative and multi-asset strategies.

The Adviser Centre, a consultancy service founded by City Financial, will transition to Embark Group with immediate effect, along with its team led by investment director Toogood (pictured). The transition has already been approved by all governance bodies and the consultancy service will from now on operate independently of other subsidiaries of the Embark Group. This transfer of ownership is part of a commercial agreement between Embark and City Financial, which will allow them to utilise complementary capabilities to collaborate in the UK retail financial services market.
