RLAM's Williams departs after 30 years at firm

Firm reviewing its European strategies

Andrea Williams has left her role as European equities fund manager at Royal London Asset Management after 30 years at the business.

The fund manager (pictured) ran the £600m European Growth fund, which will now be taken over by Michael Fox, head of sustainable funds, who now also manages the £266m Royal London European Opportunities fund.  Williams worked at RLAM for three decades, initially joining as a UK analyst before being promoted to fund manager. Her departure is part of a wider management review of the firm's European strategies which saw manager Neil Wilkinson depart last month to join a City hedge fund.
