Former HSBC UK wealth business head Caroline Connellan has today started her role as the new CEO of Brooks Macdonald, as its former boss Chris Macdonald becomes deputy chairman.
The appointment was announced in October last year but was subject to regulatory approval, which has now been granted. Macdonald, who is one of the firm's founding members, is now deputy chairman of the group as Connellan (pictured) takes over as CEO. He will continue to serve as an adviser to the firm and support continued development and growth, with the view to taking on the role of chairman in the future.
