Miton Group is planning to launch a global equity infrastructure fund and has hired infrastructure specialist Jim Wright to be the fund manager.
The fund is slated for launch in the second quarter of 2017, subject to regulatory approval, as the firm looks to broaden its proposition. Miton's most recent fund launch was the European Opportunities fund brought to market in December 2015 for managers Carlos Moreno and Thomas Brown. Former Miton manager Hamilton lands at Polar Capital Wright joins Miton from the British Steel Pension Fund where he was a global listed infrastructure manager for 10 years.
