Investec Asset Management has seen operating profits increase by nearly 17% during the six months to the end of September, thanks to more than £1bn in net inflows.
In the half-year results to the 30 September for the wider Investec group, the firm said operating profit for its asset management division increased by 16.6%, from £70.6m during the same period in 2015 to £82.3m. This was helped by net inflows of £1.1bn, particularly following the recovery in equities, while funds under management rose from £75.7bn at the end of March to £89.8bn.
