Update: Godfrey's The People's Trust preparing for May launch

Will appoint investment managers by February

In his latest update, Daniel Godfrey has announced his intention to launch The People's Trust in May or June next year.

The former Investment Association chief also announced he has "a pretty good idea of the managers" he wants to appoint by the end of February, with the help of Willis Towers Watson. Additional directors will be identified at launch, though Godfrey said he has been speaking to "a number of interested individuals" with whom conversations will "move to the next stage" in January. Godfrey (pictured) added: "In terms of timings, we will be aiming to launch in May or June, but there is a great deal to do and I will continue to update on progress as we move through the early part of 2017." ...
