SLI hires former Aberdeen AM global investment head Struthers

Standard Life Investments has hired Archie Struthers as head of investments, replacing Bill Lambert who retires after 27 years in the industry.

Struthers (pictured) previously worked at Aberdeen Asset Management as global head of investment solutions until his departure in July 2016 and will start at SLI on 9 January, reporting to chief investment officer Rod Paris. His role will involve responsibility for investment governance, the investment operating platform, MyFolio and derivatives counter-party management.   Lambert, who worked as head of investment process and director of investment governance, will be retiring on 31 March 2017 following 13 years at SLI and will work with Struthers to ensure a smooth transition.  SL...
