Investment Week rounds up all the trading updates from asset managers this month, which have seen widely varied flows amid political volatility and an end-of-year 'Santa rally'.

The fourth quarter continued the 2016 theme of political shock with Donald Trump's election as the 45th President of the US and an Italian referendum, which rejected Prime Minister Matteo Renzi's constitutional reforms. Nonetheless, stockmarkets were upbeat with equities returning to net inflows in November, according to the Investment Association, and the FTSE ending the year on a high.
