Investec commodities manager Whall to retire

Investec Asset Management's commodities portfolio manager Charles Whall is retiring at the end of January.

The manager joined Investec in 2012 alongside head of commodities and resources Tom Nelson and was involved in the management of the onshore and offshore Global Energy funds, which have $861.4m under management combined (as at end of December 2016). As a result of Whall's retirement, Graeme Baker, who joined in 2010, has been promoted from analyst to assistant portfolio manager supporting Nelson as portfolio manager.
