Odey Asset Management's Feras Al-Chalabi, partner and fund manager, has left the firm after almost two decades with his European franchise being handed to Oliver Kelton.
Al-Chalabi (pictured) joined Odey in 1999 from university as a media and technology analyst and was made fund manager in 2003 and a partner at the firm in 2005. He worked as sole manager of the £71.4m Odey Allegra European fund and Odey European Absolute Return fund since 2003 and 2013 respectively and was manager of the firm's European franchise for 15 years. This is now being handed to Kelton who joined Odey in March 2015 from Waverton.
