Franklin Templeton Investments has launched two fixed income funds to be co-managed by head of European fixed income David Zahn and manager Roderick MacPhee.
The Franklin UK Corporate Bond and Franklin UK Gilt funds are both sub-funds of the firm's OEIC range and will have respective annual management charges of 0.35% and 0.25%. The Corporate Bond fund will invest primarily in investment grade fixed or floating-rate debt securities of UK companies, with a mandate to generate returns from a combination of interest income and capital appreciation.
