Man GLG launches global long/short fund for cyclicals specialist

Man GLG has launched its second product this month, a global long/short equity fund focused on value stocks managed Niels Pecriaux.

The Global Fundamental Equity fund, a UCITS fund, is a value-orientated mandate that will use an investment process based on qualitative analysis, supported by quantitative analysis. Natixis appoints former Goldmans man as head of asset management Pecriaux (pictured) joined Man GLG in 2010 as part of the European long/short equities team, which operates an internal multi-manager structure specialised by industry, region or investment style.  He has been managing a portfolio focusing on the consumer and cyclical sectors since October 2012.
