Hargreaves Lansdown has announced plans to open a new technology hub in Warsaw, Poland to expand its software development capabilities.
The company said a larger IT development capability increases its ability to grow and improve the services offered to clients and ultimately the overall business. The new hub is expected to open in the middle of this year and to grow to around 50 employees working on specific development projects. Hargreaves said it picked Warsaw because of its vibrant business culture, flourishing technology sector, excellent communications infrastructure and large number of English-speaking IT professionals.
