FundCalibre launches Elite ratings for investment trusts

FundCalibre has expanded its fund research to include investment companies, awarding an initial 11 trusts its Elite rating.

The company expanded its coverage after identifying a strong client interest in investment companies, and said it expects more trusts to gain the Elite mark in the coming months. To gain an Elite rating, FundCalibre first identifies funds with a 60% chance of delivering outperformance on the basis of their manager's skill.
