Allianz Global Investors is seeking shareholder approval to merge its £11m UK Unconstrained fund into its recently rebranded £47m UK Opportunities fund.
Both mandates, which have similar mandates, are run by Matthew Tillett (pictured), who will continue as manager of the merged vehicle if approved. The UK Opportunities fund had been known as the UK Growth fund until January this year and aims to achieve capital growth by investing in all economic sectors of the UK.
