Hawksmoor Investment Management has appointed former Smith & Williamson head of marketing Nick Hodgson as a non-executive director on its board.

Hodgson (pictured)has more than 30 years' experience in marketing and sales at asset and wealth managers. He was formerly on the investment management board at Smith & Williamson, where he was head of marketing for seven years until April 2016, and has also been a main board director at Framlington, where he was sales & marketing director from 2003 until 2007. He has also held board-level roles at Rothschild Asset Management and Thornton/Dresdner RCM (now Allianz).
