Invesco Perpetual's Lam named sole manager of Asian fund

Former co-manager Parks focuses on overseeing range

Invesco Perpetual has promoted William Lam to sole manager of the £950m Invesco Perpetual Asian fund as former co-manager Stuart Parks focuses on overseeing the range in his role as head of Asian equities.

Lam (pictured) has managed pan-Asian portfolios at Invesco Perpetual since 2009 and was made co-manager on the fund in 2015, alongside Parks. He will become sole manager on 1 May. Lam is also co-manager of the £270m Invesco Perpetual Pacific and the $160m offshore Pacific Equity funds, which he has run since 2013.
