Morningstar takes on cycling challenge to raise £25,000 for CASCAID

Investment research firm Morningstar is supporting the industry-wide initiative CASCAID, which aims to raise £1m over 2017 for Cancer Research UK (CRUK), by cycling the distance between its Chicago and Sydney offices via spinning, a form of indoor cycling.

About 25,000km must be cycled by the end of November, and the team is already well on track to reach its target, having started in February cycling around 600km a week. Ruli Viljoen (pictured), head of manager selection at Morningstar Investment Management Europe, is leading the challenge and is joined by the 50-strong team based in London, with some extra help from co-workers across the globe.
