Cohen & Steers to launch global alternative income fund

Cohen & Steers is set to unveil its Luxembourg-domiciled Global Preferred Securities fund later this month to be run by William Scapell.

The new vehicle is a sub-fund of the firm's Luxembourg UCITS platform and will begin trading on 15 May. It seeks to provide high current income and capital appreciation by investing in a global portfolio of retail exchange-listed and institutional over-the-counter preferred and debt securities.
