HSBC GAM poaches head of responsible investment from Newton

Along with two other senior hires

HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Sandra Carlisle from Newton Investment Management as head of responsible investment, while Stephanie Maier and Helene Winch also join as senior responsible investment specialists.

Carlisle joins the firm as head of responsible investment after more than three years in the same role at Newton Investments. A board member of the United Nations' Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI), Carlisle also spent a decade as a managing director at Citigroup, before joining F&C Investments as a director.
