Schroders has revealed Luke Biermann will take over its £622m UK Dynamic Smaller Companies after announcing Paul Marriage and John Warren are set to leave the firm to start up their own business Tellworth Investments.
Last week, Schroders announced it has agreed in principle for BennBridge, a fund distributor set up last year to partner asset managers, to become investment manager of both the UK UCITs and non-UCITs versions of its UK Dynamic Absolute Return funds, which have £380m under management, subject to regulatory approval and due diligence. Fund managers Marriage and Warren are set to transition to BennBridge in the fourth quarter of 2017, where they will continue to manage both strategies.
