Robeco has launched a UCITS compliant Chinese A-Share Equities fund exploiting investment themes China's domestic market.
The Luxembourg-domiciled fund invests in the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share markets and considers a number of themes including demographic, economic and social developments in China. It follows a high-conviction philosophy which leads to a 30 to 50 stock portfolio, and uses the MSCI China A International Index as a reference index. The fund combines disciplined, fundamental research with input from Robeco's proprietary quantitative model which the group said enables the manager to analyse earnings and price momentum more accurately.
