China funds have emerged as the top-performing vehicles a year after the historic Brexit vote in the UK, returning more than 65%, while sectors exposed to Asian and technology stock have also topped the tables.
According to FE, seven of the top 20 best-performing funds since Brexit were dedicated China funds, including those in the top two stops. These were the £29m Baillie Gifford Greater China, managed by Mike Gush and Sophie Earnshaw, which returned 67%. and the £50m Julius Baer Multistock China Evolution fund, run by Jian Shi Cortesiwhich, which delivered 64%.
