An artificial intelligence tool for identifying regulatory crossovers and conflicts has been launched, to allow compliance officers to streamline implementation procedures across legislation such as MiFID, PRIIPS, UCITS V and AIFMD.

Covering 43 European Union regulations, the AI-powered Wayfinder tool will help compliance officers identify overlaps among the different regulations, identify what is relevant to their company, streamline an implementation process, and therefore reduce risk and lower costs dramatically, according to its inventor Waymark Technology. Waymark CEO Mark Holmes said Wayfinder offers compliance officers with a "faster and better way to build up a deep understanding of different regulations, and how they all connect together" by analysing directives such as MiFID II, PRIIPs, UCITS V, BASEL III,...
