River & Mercantile has hired Marcus Honig from Neptune Investment Management as head of advisory sales, as the group looks to expand relationships in the IFA market.
Honig previously worked in national sales at Neptune, focusing on strategic partners, which he joined in March 2014 until his departure in January. In his new role, he will work closely with R&M's managing director of wholesale business Mark Thomas. River & Mercantile to launch and seed Global Macro strategy this year Thomas said Honig would help the firm to develop its relationships with IFAs and national, network and independent firms.
