Financial thinktank New City Initiative has published proposals for an asset manager start-up hub, based on the FCA's Project Innovate initiative.
In a policy paper released today, Supporting Innovation and Entrepreneurialism in Asset Management, the thinktank said asset management is lagging behind fintech and banking in supporting new starters. The NCI is calling for an extension of the themes of FCA's Project Innovate - an innovation hub, advice unit and a regulatory sandbox - to the asset management industry.
