Neptune's Milway exits as Unwin takes over US Opps fund

Unwin to continue running Global Technology fund

Neptune Investment Management has promoted Ali Unwin to lead manager on its £274m US Opportunities fund, as Robin Milway leaves the firm after ten months.

Unwin (pictured) has been an assistant manager on the fund since 2004, and also runs the group's £10m Global Technology fund, launched in December 2015. He will run the fund with Patrick Close, who has been co-manager since May 2016 and also runs the firm's recently-launched US Mid Cap fund. Neptune hires former M&G CEO McLintock; Parker exits for Sanlam Former EFG manager Milway joined the firm last September to work alongside Close and James Hackman on the US Opportunities fund, but Hackman later left the group.
