Neptune Investment Management has hired Daniel Lee, former sales director at Allianz Global Investors and head of UK wholesale Edmond de Rothschild AM, as head of UK sales as the firm embarks on the first stage of its revised distribution plans.
Lee joins in September and will be reporting to CEO and Neptune founder Robin Geffen. The group said the hire is the first stage of the implementation of Neptune's distribution plan, set out by former M&G CEO Michael McLintock, who was hired as special adviser earlier this year. Lee has had an extensive career in the retail asset management industry and most recently worked as head of UK wholesale at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, before its parent firm decided to retreat from the UK retail market.
