Update: Schroders AUM continues to rise in Q3

Intermediary outflows slowing compared to H1 2016

Schroders has reported further growth in assets under management in the third quarter of 2017, with an indication flows may have seen a slight improvement since the first half of the year, when the firm suffered substantial intermediary outflows.

In the three months to the end of September, total AUM increased to £419.6bn from £406.9bn at the end of Q2 2017, a 3% rise. Institutional assets continued to grow, rising 4% to £247.4bn, but the intermediary channel also saw growth of 3% to £128.1bn. AUM growth in the wealth management sector was weaker, at 1%, rising to £44.1bn.
