BMO GAM expands range with small-cap EM fund

BMO Global Asset Management has launched a global emerging markets smaller companies fund, in association with sister company LGM Investments.

The BMO LGM Global Emerging Markets Smaller Companies fund will be managed by Irina Hunter as lead manager and Claire Franklin as co-manager. Hunter said smaller companies in the region offered the managers an opportunity to gain a "genuine information advantage" in order to produce superior returns. BMO GAM reveals plans to enhance range LGM Investments, which is also owned by Bank of Montreal, specialises in emerging markets. The fund aims to deliver long-term capital growth by investing in smaller companies which are established in or derive their income from emerging markets...
