Waverton Investment Management has hired former Kames Capital strategy head William Dinning as its head of investment strategy and communications.
Dinning joins Waverton from Coal Pension Trustees where he helped run the £20bn Coal Industry pension scheme as head of investment strategy. Prior to this, he spent eight years as head of strategy at Kames Capital, where he worked with Waverton chief executive Andrew Fleming (pictured) who was employed as joint chief executive and chief investment officer until 2015.
