Lead manager of the Smith & Williamson Artificial Intelligence (AI) fund Chris Ford is avoiding a US-focused view of the sector in favour of UK-based AI firms in his portfolio.
The £22m Artificial Intelligence fund, which was launched in June and is co-managed by Tim Day, operates a 35-stock portfolio, comprised from an initial universe of around 17,500 stocks with a market capitalisation above $250m.
