Baillie Gifford reduces fees across 20 active funds

Baillie Gifford has reduced annual management fees across a range of 20 actively-managed UK OEIC and Irish UCITS funds, effective from 1 October.

The Edinburgh-based investment management partnership reduced fees on a number of funds, including the Baillie Gifford European fund from 0.65% to 0.55% and the Baillie Gifford Japanese fund from 0.65% to 0.60%. The changes followed earlier management fee reductions on the Baillie Gifford American fund, from 0.65% to 0.50%, in January. The firm said the changes were part of its strategy to offer active management to investors at an attractive price whenever fund scale and ongoing costs allow.
