Michelle Seitz is taking over the role of CEO and chairman of Russell Investments, replacing Len Brennan who will step down from the board at the end of the year to become a strategic adviser to the firm.
Seitz joins the firm from after 16 years leading William Blair Investment Management (WBIM) and serving on the seven-person executive committee of William Blair. Prior to assuming leadership of William Blair Investment Management in 2001, Seitz was in charge of the firm's private wealth management businesses. Her previous experience also includes senior portfolio management roles with WBIM, Concord Investment Company, and Nationsbank.
