The Investment Association (IA) has appointed Invesco Perpetual CEO Andrew Schlossberg to its board as a non-executive director, Investment Week can reveal.

After joining Invesco from Citigroup Asset Management in 2001, Schlossberg held a number of high profile roles at the firm, including head of US retail distribution and global ETFs, and head of global corporate development. In November 2015, he was appointed chief executive of Invesco Perpetual as previous CEO Mark Armour retired; he is also head of Invesco's EMEA region.  During his time at Citigroup and its predecessors, Schlossberg served as an equity research analyst on the US large-cap value equity team.
