Fidelity International's Alex Denny has been appointed head of investment trusts as Nicky McCabe, who has held the role for almost four years, is set to retire at the end of the year.
Previously director of investment trusts, Denny's new role will see him lead in developing and delivering the business strategy for Fidelity's investment trust business and heading the team responsible for its day-to-day management. Denny will work closely with the company boards and portfolio managers across the investment trust range. The appointment comes as Nicky McCabe retires from the role as head of investment trusts, which she has held since April 2014.
