RLAM recruits two managers as Mitchell retires

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has hired two fund managers, to replace manager Derek Mitchell who retires after 30 years in the industry.

Mitchell (pictured) has worked at the firm since 2007, following 21 years at F&C, and manages the £733m UK Opportunities and £405m UK Mid Cap Growth funds.  As a result of his retirement, the firm has hired Craig Yeaman as a fund manager and Henry Burrell as assistant fund manager. Yeaman joins from Saracen while Burrell joins from Smith & Williamson where he has worked since 2011.  At Saracen, which Yeaman joined in 2008, he was investment director and fund manager of the £27m TB Saracen UK Alpha fund. Meanwhile, Burrell was head of research for the S&W's UK small cap strategy....
